10 lifestyle changes to make if you want to
become rich Becoming rich and successful is pretty easy. A simple formula to follow, earn more, spend
less and save more. It sounds easy, right? Of course, but how can anyone go about it? You see, it starts from the mind. You must be willing to put yourself out there,
leave your comfort zone and head towards a riskier but more rewarding path. You’ll need to get rid of some thought patterns
and develop new habits to achieve this. Again, you need to understand that “Success
is a learnable skill.” This is according to T. Harv Eker in his book
“Secrets of the Millionaire Mind.” “If you want to be a great golfer, you can
learn how to do it. If you want to be a great piano player, you
can learn how to do it,” he said. Adding that, “If you want to be rich, you
can learn how to do it.” Steve Siebold in his book “How Rich People
Think,” wrote that “To get rich, I had to learn to think like a rich person. Once I changed my thinking, the money started
to flow.” In this video, I’ll share with you 10 lifestyle
changes to make if you want to become rich. This, I believe will help you become a successful
person. If you’re new here, consider subscribing

of income will never be enough to help actualize that dream. You see rich people focus on their net income,
which is why they constantly seek their earnings. Hence, they do not depend on one source of
income even if it means starting a side business or taking up a part-time job. According to Thomas C. Corley, author of “Change
Your Habits, Change Your Life,” “65 percent of self-made millionaires do not rely on one
singular source of income.” Corley discovered that “they had at least
three streams of income that they created before making their first million dollars,”
Corley says, such as real-estate rentals, a side hustle or a part-time job. 2. Hang out or associate with successful people Steve Siebold said, “In most cases, your net
worth mirrors the level of your closest friends.” Adding that “Exposure to people who are more
successful than you are has the potential to expand your thinking and catapult your
income. The reality is, millionaires, think differently
from the middle class about money, and there’s much to be gained by being in their presence.” Successful know that by hanging around equally
successful people, they’ll keep learning how to become a better version of themselves and
also how to continually improve their net worth. According to Corly, “Wealthy, successful
people are very particular about who they associate with. Their goal is to develop relationships with
other success-minded individuals.” 3. Start reading a lot One thing peculiar with every rich and successful
person is their desire to keep learning. They are readers. For instance, a self-made millionaire, Warren
Buffett, spends at least 80% of his working day dedicated to reading. Rich people value education to entertainment,
which is why most successful people have their offices filled with books. They invest so much in books and other educative
materials. Steve Siebold said, “Walk into a wealthy person’s
home and one of the first things you’ll see is an extensive library of books they’ve used
to educate themselves on how to become more successful,” 4. Start doing uncomfortable things If you want to become rich, you must be willing
to step out of your comfort zone and do uncomfortable things. For instance, working 2 jobs at once just
to improve your network isn’t easy but it is worth it in the end. Also, when you learn to become a master or
an expert in your field, you are going to earn money because people are usually willing
to pay money as long as they are being attended to by an expert. However, the process of learning mastery isn’t
an easy nor comfortable one, which is you must be willing to do uncomfortable things
if you want to become rich. To do this, you can adopt Siebold’s suggested
strategies: “Make a list of the five things you must do today that are uncomfortable but
will help you build your financial fortune.” 5. Automate your finance Once you start earning money, no matter how
little it is, you will need to learn the habit of saving, which is easily achieved by automating
your finance. To do this, make sure that money from your
paycheck or checking account is sent to your investment accounts every month before you
even get the chance to see it. 6. Put your money to work- invest
Always save money with intentions otherwise you’ll end up spending it. Grant Cardone, a self-made millionaire, said
that “The only reason to save money is to one day invest money,” adding that “Investing
money is how you will get super-rich. ”
You see, your wealth is measured by how much money you earn monthly but by the size of
your investment. Ramit Sethi said, “on average, millionaires
invest 20 percent of their household income each year. Their wealth isn’t measured by the amount
they make each year, but by how they’ve saved and invested over time.” 7. Devote time to learning a new skill daily Remember when we said you need to be willing
to do something uncomfortable and also be willing to read and learn new things daily? Here’s the point where you get into action. When you learn and develop new skills, you
grow and when you grow, you expand your circle and abilities, which can eventually earn you
a new, better paying job or contracts. 8. Leave below your means Do not be so desperate to use every luxury
item you find around. Cautiously spend your money and ensure that
you live below your means. Grant Cardone said, “I didn’t buy my first
luxury watch or car until my businesses and investments were producing multiple secure
flows of income. I was still driving a Toyota Camry when I
had become a millionaire. Be known for your work ethic, not the trinkets
that you buy.” 9. Start focusing on result rather than time
and effort To think that the amount of time you spent
at your place of work in a day is what counts is to think wrongly. Be result-oriented. In his book, “The secret mind of a millionaire,”
T Harv Eker said, “Rich people choose to get paid based on results. Poor people choose to get paid based on time.” Rich people believe in their ability to deliver
and over-deliver as a matter of fact, which is they’d rather get paid when their job is
done. Poor people, on the other hand, want to get
paid for the time they spend working for you. To become rich, you have to become result-oriented. 10. Learn how to market yourself According to T Harv Eker, “Rich people are
willing to promote themselves and their value. Poor people think negatively about selling
and promotion.” Marketing is all about connecting with people,
persuading them, and helping them. You see, no one will magically find out and
purchase what you sell or read your stuff if you do not do a good job of showing them
how valuable it is. This is what marketing is all about. It is the “how” behind what you do. The more you market yourself and how well
you do it, the more money you earn. You are watching this video because it was
well-titled and it is valuable to you. As mentioned earlier, getting rich isn’t as
