Gangsta’s Paradise – Vintage 1920’s Al Capone Style Coolio Cover ft. Robyn Adele Anderson

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at my life, and realize there’s nothing left, ‘Cause I’ve been brassing and laughing for so, so long that, Even my momma thinks that my mind is gone. But I ain’t never crossed a man that didn’t deserve it Me be treated like a punk, you know that’s unheard of You better watch how you talking, and where you walking Or you and your homies might be lined in chalk I really hate to trip but I gotta lope, As they croak I see myself in the pistol smoke, Fool, I’m the kinda G the little homies wanna be like, On my knees in the night, saying prayers in the street light. Been spending most their lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, Been spending most their lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, They got the situation, they got me facing, I can’t live a normal life, I was raised by the streets, So I gotta be down, with the hood team, Too much television watching got me chasing dreams. I’m an educated fool with money on my mind. I’ve got my ten in my hand, and a gleam in my eye, I’m a loped out gangsta’ set trippin’ banger, And my homies are down, so gonna rouse my anger. Death ain’t nothing, but a heartbeat away, I’m living life do or die, what can I say? I’m 23 now, will I live to see 24? The way things are going, I don’t know Been spending most their lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, Been spending most their lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, Keep spending most our lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, Keep spending most their lives living in a gangsta’s paradise. Tell me why are we, so blind to see, That the ones we hurt, are you and me. Power and the money, money and the power, Minute after minute, hour after hour, Everybody’s running, but half of them ain’t looking, What’s going on in the kitchen, but I don’t know what’s cooking, They say I’ve got to learn but nobody’s here to teach me, If they can’t understand, how can they reach me, I guess they can’t, and I guess they won’t, I guess they front, That’s why I know my life is out of luck, fool. Been spending most their lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, Been spending most their lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, Keep spending most our lives living in a gangsta’s paradise, Keep spending most our lives living in a gangsta’s paradise…

  1. Would love to see these performances in my gear vr. Just feel like I'm in that room enjoying this wonderful music and ambient.

  2. I normally hate rap, but you managed to get me to like this particular song.

In this cover style, at least.

  3. Amish Paradise played with Lutes, Viols, Hurdy Gurdy, and Tambourine. Hurdy Gurdys weren't in use during the 17th century, but they're amish so they won't mind.

  4. I have never listened to this style of music. But now I have listened to three songs and went ahead and subscibed because you are that good.

  5. I found this amazing thanks to her performance in Rockstar Games' RDR2

I don't know how I missed this wholesome group all this time

  6. When I listen and see songs in this format, it's like I'm living in the 1920/1930/1960 etc … Fantastic I'm sure I was born at the wrong time, hugs you are awesome ….

  7. I have been watching PMJ videos for awhile now. Who are these singers???? AND why do I have to ask???? They are awesome. Same thing for the musicians. WOW for all.

  8. Band sounds great, neat idea…

Her voice sounds like the cross between a dying horse and a mating peacock.

Needs more axle grease, less screeching sandpaper…

  9. Я придумал пародию в самп стиле, немного раньше, я фанат мафий джазза и вообще гангстерской тематики. Так что мне кажется на свет появляться новые две пародий, и да, русские и украинцы привет, ну вообще кто знает этот язык.
