Inside Amina Muaddi’s Parisian apartment and offices | Une Fille, Un Style | Vogue Paris

My name is Amina Muaddi, I’m 33. I am half Jordanian, half Romanian, but I grew up in Italy and now I live in Paris. I am a designer and creative director. Alfie is my French bulldog that I love very much and I got him when I moved to Paris. So we’ve been on this Parisian adventure
together since the beginning. I love Paris. I love the city, the beauty of the architecture, the fact that I always feel inspired,
that I can always find something new, from a street to a museum to a restaurant, I love being here. I always knew I wanted to work
in fashion since I was a child. My mum was my first fashion icon
and always a role model for me. My style is very eclectic. I would like to think that I have style,
but I don’t have a specific style. I like to mix colours and I like to mix textures. It’s always based on my instinct. I just want to feel like it represents me
and works for me. I started my first brand when I was 26, and one year ago, in August 2018, I launched Amina Muaddi,
my eponymous shoe brand. I would describe my brand as feminine,
sophisticated and a little bit fun. I created the heel because I wanted
to have a silhouette that was fierce but at the same time
remained feminine. So this is why I came up with this heel
that was half stiletto, half flared.

  1. YES omg she’s amazing I love her so much and what she’s doing is great thanks so much for profiling her!!!!!

  2. I’m obseeeeessed with her shoe line! Also I think she is the first one in this series that as soon the video began without even hearing her speak I noticed the outfit and was like “nope! this one is definitely not french”

  3. …. "my family is very rich, this is how I can afford this life style"….
Always good to make this precision, this is not "People", this is not "A girl", this is UPPER CLASS. Not evryone is abble to enter this type of job, studies, clothes. Dont feel bad about yourself if you re 16 years old and you feel so far from this reality, this is normal, it is her reality, far from the rest of the world, the "normal" people, the "poor".( This is capitalism) Just a reminder of facts. Not any jugement mentionned. x
