Fashion companies are increasingly impacted by the circular economy, so much so that today Circular Fashion is known worldwide. The circular economy can have an impact in many ways, from the inputs that are introduced into the manufacturing process, to business and consumption models linked to innovative concepts,
such as the Product as a Service. This segment also boasts innovative solutions as for recovery and recycling,
as well as for energy efficiency, where Enel X can provide the utmost support. Es’Givien is an example of excellence
in terms of the Made in Italy identity but also regarding the Circular Economy
and sustainability in general. It is extremely committed to a pathway of improvement, which is exactly what Enel X’s Circular Economy Boosting Program offers. This has been implemented both in Es’Givien’s production and design centres
and in other sites in the entire supply chain. Thanks to the Boosting Program, significant improvements are expected on the energy side: through renewable energy, energy efficiency and electric mobility, Es’Givien will be able to achieve
even higher levels of circular economy. Enel X and Es’Givien together decided on a circularity development road map, according to which fabrics from recycled sources, a new renewable energy and energy efficiency can combine to bring the score, initially equal to 3, to a level of 4 out of 5, that is very close to the excellence in terms of circularity.
