All right, we are here in our house this
morning we’re gonna check out the sheetrock. Are you ready kids? Yeah!
To go see where your rooms are? Yeah! Alright, let’s go take a look. This 3rd phase of the process has been a lot of fun. I think our daughter described it best as it feels like Christmas every day
because either we’re anticipating something that’s gonna happen or we’re
thrilled when something does happen and we get something new in the house.
You guys ready to move out of the basement? Yes! I’ve loved being able to come here
and each time we come and go and walk through the house there’s something
different that’s happened. Okay, when I first saw the outside paint, I thought
that’s really blue. What did we just do? But it’s really grown on me. It’s
really a happy color and I just kind of I think it really fits our personality
and our home and just seems happy and welcoming. To me, I feel like this whole
process has gone by pretty fast. There are days when we feel like it’s going
really slow especially when all six of us are stuck in a two-bedroom basement
apartment. Honestly, it’s only taken just over 100 days and I’m really
impressed with every one of the contractors that have worked on this
house. So today we got to walk through the house and basically put blue tape
just about everywhere that we could see any type of little flaw. So now we have
just one more walk through to go where we get to come back and all the
blue tape will be gone. Yeah, I’m really excited to just be done, to move in and the next time you see us we’ll be living in our house.
