Take some ingredients whose details are available in the description box I already soaked rice beforehand Similarly, add chana dal in the water As both of them are soaked 1 pinch asafoetida, 2 dried red chilli, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp curry leaves, 1 tsp chopped green chilli 1 tbsp salt, 1 tsp of turmeric powder and coriander leaves one can even use black peppercorn Heat a wok and add 1 tsp of coriander seeds let it splutter Add green chilli, curry leaves Add 1 tsp of clarified butter Fry them all then add 1 pinch of asafoetida Add soaked gram lentils also in the same wok Add strained rice also Fry them all together Add salt as per the taste Right now I am adding 1 tsp of salt, later on, I will add more, then add 1 tsp of turmeric powder 1 pinch red chilli powder Mix them well and cook When you feel aroma emitting from the recipe Add more water here As we need to slow cook it to bring the taste of Tirumala style recipe As grand places have their own way of cooking, which takes more time Add coriander leaves so that it can fetch aroma of the leaves As it starts to boil so put the lid on and cook it for 30 minutes on the slow flame Keep on checking in between then cook it by putting the lid on As the water starts to reduce Now it seems totally done so we will again reduce the flame and meanwhile, we will prepare the tempering So heat a ladle Add 2 tbsp of clarified butter into the ladle Add dried red chilli into it Add curry leaves into it Add cumin seeds as well Add all the ingredients Tempering is ready now Add tempering into the wok and instantly cover the lid for few minutes After two to three minutes we will mix them well Covering the lid adds earthy flavour into the recipe So the recipe is ready now It will be very light to your stomach Serve it with any side dish Chokha, pickles, papad chutney, curd, salads etc Thank you friends
