YESSTYLE HAUL | KBEAUTY AND KOREAN FASHION HAUL (was it worth it??)

Hi guys, welcome back to my channel today I will show you some of the stuff that I bought off yesstyle because I may have gone a little bit crazy and bought a bit too much So I want to show you guys what I got and if it was worth it or not If you haven’t heard of yesstyle before, it’s a online retailer that stocks a lot of Korean and Japanese Skincare, makeup a lot of clothing and accessories pretty much anything you could ever think you would need and Yeah, I bought a little bit too much So if you’re looking forward to seeing what I got, click the like button below and let’s get on with the video So first off I want to start with the skincare that I got and of course what’s Korean skincare without sheet masks? So I’ve got a few of these And Quick disclaimer, I’m in Australia. So everything that I’m talking about will be in Australian dollars So take that as you will depending on exchange rates Australian to American dollars is usually Maybe chuck on an extra thirty to forty percent I think These prices are also my gold member status so depending on what level you are you get more discounts And yesstyle also has a heap of discounts and markdowns happening all the time so you just have to watch out for those these prices are just kind of like examples because they’re likely to go up and down as Markdowns and sales happen as well as discount codes I’ll put mine down below if you want to use that you can stack discount codes with friend rewards and stuff like that So first up there’s these cute a’pieu sheet masks ones a watermelon ice cream and a banana milk and they’re really cute this one on the site at the moment shows as $3.95 and This one shows as $3.20, so a little bit cheaper then there’s the skinfood green tea mask and this one shows up as $3.75 at the moment I always like to get a few of these as well as the cosrx pimple patches Every time I make an order on yesstyle because they’re just really good things to have in your collection and then there’s this one that’s a nose pore mask and I’m pretty sure I got this one for free because yesstyle also has a lot of little free gifts that they chuck in a lot of the time as well So those are always good to look out for as well as their daily gifts that they share on instagram If you follow them on Instagram @yesstyle As I mentioned before I always like to have a bit of a stock up of the cosrx pimple patches so I’ve got a few of these ones this one I’ve already opened and finished and they basically come in little sheets like this and You pop the individual patches on your skin Anywhere you might have a blemish overnight and it really helps with the redness and these ones show as $4.84 at the moment as I’m filming but these ones tend to go on sale a lot. So I always look out for them So next. I’ve got a couple of moisturiser to try out the first one being the nature republic aqua super aqua max combination watery cream Quite weighty packaging that feels really luxe and heavy in your hand and It’s got kind of a dollop design on the top of the lid I don’t know if you can see that because of the lights But it’s like a 3d effect, which is cool. And it looks like it’s quite a thick consistency as well So that’s that one it’s got quite a gentle herbal smell That’s really nice but if your skin reacts to fragrances maybe not so but mine is usually quite fine with that And this one on yesstyle at the moment is retailing at $33.44 Australian dollars which is a little bit up there for a moisturizer but not too bad, especially because it feels like very weighty and Hopefully it does a really good job at moisturising my combination skin For that price I would’ve maybe liked it to come with a spatula Just because I don’t like putting my fingers into jars like this because it can contaminate it and make the product go off quicker quicker But in saying that hopefully it’ll still work well The other moisturizer that I got is a cosrx oil-free ultra moisturising lotion with birch sap It looks like it comes in a pump form, which is good I generally preferred pump forms over jars just because less oxygen gets into the actual products which means that it lasts longer And I’m curious to know what this actually smells like Oh Any Aussies out there Basically imagine any typical eucalyptus cleaning product It doesn’t smell too bad but I’m not sure I’d want it all over my face So we’ll see how that goes It’ll depend on how much the fragrance stays on the skin or if it just kind of dissipates after like 30 seconds or so, but that’ll be interesting to try out And this one’s also showing as little bit less than the nature republic one from just before and showing up as $28.28 Australian dollars and also from cosrx, I’ve got the low pH Good morning gel cleanser Now unlike that one I have tried this one before and really liked it So this is actually repurchase. So anyone with just normal combo skin, I would really recommend this one This one goes for a little over $15 on yesstyle at the moment As far as toners go, I just got this little sample sized Dear Klairs supple preparation facial toner because I’ve heard good things about it and So it’s the 30mL instead of I think their normal 150mL correct me if I’m wrong And at the moment it retails at just over $12 Australian dollars So opening it up, it’s just this little bottle here And from what I’ve heard, it has quite a strong fragrance again if your skin reacts to fragrance This one does smell quite strongly and I believe they now have a fragrance free one So I recommend you guys try that one out if your skin does react to fragrance, but this one is also a cult product So I’m quite looking forward to trying this one out as well. I did also get one eye cream from Mizon and the packaging is like that, so it’s quite shiny and I believe these ones are supposed to come with spatulas unlike the nature republic moisturiser so that’s what it looks like And yep down the bottom There’s also a little spatula that you can use so I much prefer to use a spatula Like this little one with jar products like that, just so I don’t have to stick my fingers in it So opening it up. You probably can’t see but it’s quite a shiny bouncy and quite a light eye cream but I’ve heard that it has really really good moisturisation. So I’m looking forward to that because I get quite dry undereyes and they’re permanently dark So if you ever see me like this With no dark under-eye circles, you can guarantee that I have concealer on lots and lots of concealer So anyway getting back to the product itself At the moment it’s showing as just over $15 Australian dollars or I think it’s on sale at the moment But like I said, they have sales quite often. So just keep an eye out If you’re looking to try out this product and they’re bound to have a sale on it at some point or another Now for the next product I did try having a look on yesstyle to see what the price was at the moment But I couldn’t find it anywhere so they might be out of stock or they may not be selling this particular pack anymore but this one is the laneige sleeping care goodnight kit that looks like that and they have a lot of Miniature size kits of the laneige products just so you can try them out. So I haven’t tried these cult products out and Ithought it was about time So I just got the little sample sizes of the lip sleeping mask and the water sleeping mask But just for reference, I am pretty sure I paid between $7-10 dollars for this pack a lot of the little sample packs of the laneige products are around that $7-10, maybe $12 dollar range which is really cost-effective because I’ve found I’ve Tried quite a few of the sample packs and they last a long time So if you ever wanted to try the Laneige products, but don’t want to buy the full products yet Definitely have a look on yesstyle to see if they have any sample sets and the next product that I got is from Holika Holika. It’s there aloe 99% fresh moisturising soothing gel and I’ve heard a lot about this as well. It has many many many uses like Moisturizing your face using it as a sleeping mask, helping with sunburn which I’m prone to around the neck unfortunately I am a pasty white girl So yeah, summer is coming up in a few months in Australia, and I’m bound to get burnt So I’m looking forward to seeing how this helps. I may even chuck it in the fridge so it has a even nicer cooling effect on the sunburn, but I’ll see how I go and on yesstyle at the moment it’s showing as $17.96 Australian dollars so just under $18 and For the amount of product that you get I think that’s very very reasonable I’ve bought a few other products in Priceline and other Western places that have been a bit more than that So that’s pretty good value for that I reckon if it works well, so fingers crossed for me folks Okay, so moving on to the last few bits of skincare. I got a couple of sunscreens and this get a little compact sunscreen I’m pretty sure I got as one of their free Instagram promos from looking at the yesstyle page, this one is $22 Australian dollars I’m really glad that I got that one for free and I’m looking forward to trying that because I haven’t actually tried any sun compacts I’ve only ever tried sunscreens in tubes and that kind of format, not in compacts themselves So that’s what the compact looks like itself I’ts got a cute little pukka on the front and then you just pop that front bit and open it up like that and a little pukka thing and unlike foundation compacts by the looks of it It doesn’t have the fold out part that usually comes with those it looks like you just press this button here and It dispenses the product from here that goes onto the puff and then you just apply that onto your face as you need it And from what I understand, it’s not the highest sunscreen grade. It’s SPF 43 and PA+++ Whereas the Biore UV aqua rick one that I got is 50+ and PA++++ and moving on to the biore one itself I’ve heard really good things about this one in particular and not that it matters to me much because I’m white already but I’ve heard that it’s quite good for darkest young girls for avoiding the white skin cast and Yeah, I’m just looking forward to trying this one in general because it’s supposed to be really lightweight and barely feel like it’s on at at all and on yesstyle this one’s showing as $12.45 Australian Alright, so moving on to makeup finally if you follow me on instagram You’ve definitely seen me use this before many many many times it is the Innisfree no-sebum blur compact and it’s basically a loose powder You screw it open and there’s a little puff that you can use, but I generally prefer to use my own brush But it’s just loose setting powder. It’s got a really fresh mint smell you do have to be careful however Not to breathe these in because this is super super finely milled So it can go everywhere and you don’t want to be inhaling that other than that I absolutely love this product and I will continue to buy this over over and over again with no regrets whatsoever So if you’re new to makeup or you’re just looking for a new setting powder, I would 100% recommend this one It’s super cheap. It works well I think on yesstyle it varies obviously from sale to sale But at the moment it’s sitting around $7 Australian and it’s just really worth it Now another setting powder that I got that I haven’t tried yet is the skinfood peach cotton multi finish powder and I have heard quite a lot about this one and that it smells a lot like peach so I’m looking forward to seeing how strongly that smells and also seeing if the scent is too strong because while having it smell nice to begin with You don’t really want it smelling like that sitting on your skin if it’s sickly sweet so I’ll be testing that out and seeing if I like that just as much as the innisfree one and you may have noticed that it’s quite quite a bit bigger that the innisfree one and it says that this one is 15 grams so it’ll be interesting to see what the difference in Grams is between these two whether it’s just bigger packaging or if it does actually have more product in it It certainly feels heavier than the Innisfree one, but that could also be because this is almost finished But yeah and price-wise this one is $14 Australian at the moment on yesstyle So is a bit more expensive than the Innisfree one But it’s also bigger and I think there’s also a smaller version of this one that you can get that’s around six or seven dollars. So maybe that one is more comparable to the small innisfree size But I haven’t looked that up yet, I need to do that and the next product that I got was a peripera ink concealer in ‘cover king vanilla’ Which is the lightest shade I believe So that’s the packaging there And then it’s got the same packaging as all their lip tints and so it looks like that I’ll be interested to see how this suits my skin color because from what I remember there was only two colours available on yesstyle and This is the lightest one the other one was fractionally darker and slightly rosier toned Whereas I usually tend to go more neutral to yellow tone. It just had a little doe foot applicator like that similar to their lip tints so I’m just gonna swatch it on my wrist now It’s got quite a liquid consistency Actually, it’s kind of a similar colour to my huda beauty concealer in marshmallow so it should in theory be a pretty good colour match for under my eyes and at the moment Yesstyle has it retailed at $6.70 Australian and the next product I have is a cheek product the etude house lovely cookie blusher and the colour is in Peach *butchers french word* not sure how you say that c.h.o.u.x am I un-cultured? probably So you open it up and it’s got this cute little puff and then underneath is the powder So that is the colour there it’s kind of a muted light peachy pink So I got this one because I figured it’d go well with my skin tone, hopefully So I’ll just swatch this one on my wrist So, it’s quite muted It does feel a little bit chalky but it does seem to blend out nicely and it has a nice colour So hopefully it goes well with my skin tone and added bonus the packaging is super cute and moving on to the eyes, I got another peripera product called sugar twinkle liquid shadow in the shade ‘kitten beige’ and it actually reminds me a lot of the stila liquid eyeshadows. So that’s the product there super cute, and it also has little holographic stars on the packaging up here but I’m not sure that’s picking up on camera But the colour itself looks really pretty So it’s another little doe foot applicator like that that’s the liquid eye shadow there super glittery Super shiny and it has a bit of a pinky brown base And at the moment on yesstyle it’s $9.20 Australian Now I do have another eyeshadow product, but unfortunately it is no longer available on yesstyle by the looks of it It is this Holika Holika gudetama eyeshadow quad super cute detailing Although the gudetama one isn’t available anymore by the look of it, they do have other similar ones that are also equally as cute character limited edition quads So look out for those ones. This one is the gudetama lazy and joy tiramisu quad if you open it up there’s this really cute plastic sleeve overlay on top of the shadows with little gudetama pictures on them and if you take that off, that’s just a really nice warm-toned eyeshadow quad So I’ll just do the swatches now So those are the colours there Not quite as pigmented as typical Western colours, but still nice and I reckon I could do a really nice eye look with that with depth and sparkle And so yeah, although this one isn’t available on yesstyle at the moment, they do have another Holika Holika eyeshadow quad that’s a sweet peko limited edition and I believe that is $22 Australian dollars at the moment so if you’re looking for something like this the sweet peko one might be a good alternative I also have an eyeliner that I got that’s the brand Beauty People and called the Miss 100 super gel eyeliner auto pencil and I got it in the shade ‘real black’ so it just looks like this It’s got a cute little Almost looks like a snow white cartoon on the top and then got the colour down here and got a little tip there, it also looks like it has a sharpener on the end which is really handy it glides really really nicely But just from the swatch it felt really really smooth applying, super creamy. It claims that it’s super budge proof so I really want to try it on my tight line to see if it transfers because I’m prone to that from watery eyes with hayfever So that will be an important test of me is whether or not it transfers onto the rest of my eye It is a little bit pricey on yesstyle at the moment. I’m pretty sure I might have got it on a sale, but at the moment it’s $17.30 Australian on there So I reckon even if it does work well, I would be waiting for a sale if you want to get this one I also got one eyebrow product which is the etude house drawing eyebrow slim 1.5mm So this reminded me a lot of the nyx micro brow pencil and I’ll be interested to see if this one actually matches my eyebrow color because most of the time that I buy brow products without seeing the colour it ends up being a little bit too red based rather than a cool brown. So it’s got a little spooley on one end and then the teeny tiny eyebrow pencil on that end you can barely even see it It seems like it’s coming off quite red-toned on the camera But in person it actually looks quite cool-toned surprisingly. So this may actually suit my eyebrow colour quite well and this was very cheap for an eyebrow pencil for us in Australia this was $6.42 on yesstyle, which is considerably cheaper than a lot of other brands even in drugstores like Priceline and whatnot Unless they’re on a super super sale. I also did get a mascara from Innisfree, it’s the skinny microcara zero in ‘black’ and it’s supposed to be really good for the lower lashes, so that you can get right into the lashline Without getting it all over yourself basically This one was quite cheap for mascara as well It was only $10.90 Australian typically normal mascaras might be Maybe like $15-20 depending on the brand So this is quite a reasonable price alright so finally on to lips, I got some lip tints Now this Face Shop one is actually in the shape of an ice cream It’s called a gelato tint and I got this one in the flavor strawberry and cream And I think this one was also supposed to have a really strong smell so we’ll see what that smells like So just has a little doe foot applicator like that. Oh my god, that’s heavenly If you don’t like sweet stuff you wouldn’t like it though, just warning That’s really nice and it’s a real like kind of Mulberry coloir I want to say? *at least not on camera* So I’ll show you all these ones and then I’ll swatch all of them along my hand so this little one on yesstyle is $12.94 next is a peripera ink velvet in ‘pure peach’ So like I said before the concealer and the lip tints have the same kind of packaging So it’s a little one. It looks almost like it’s supposed to be a drop but it’s not it’s just a little doe foot, like that And this one looks a lot more orange than the first one Not sure about the smell, this one may be a little bit too sweet for me and that saying something and this one was a little bit cheaper than the first one. This one was $9.10 Australia and moving on to the more ‘boujee’ looking one. It’s the labiotte wine tint And I first saw these when Kim Dao was talking about them for a long time and I finally actually get to try one now. They look so cute. It’s a little bottle like a little wine bottle and I got the colour CR01 and the colour is ‘rose coral’ and it has a little doe foot like that so this one’s maybe a little bit more pinker than the last one but not quite as purple-based as the first one This one was the most expensive out of the four lip tints, this was $14.30 on yesstyle but It’s so cute. I just couldn’t help it And the last lip tint is an etude house one It’s a dear darling water gel tint in the colour ‘watermelon red’ so if you open it up it’s actually in the shape of a little icy pole So open it up And it’s got a teeny tiny doe foot like that And this one’s a lot more red than the other ones, I want to say and like the eyebrow pencil, this one’s also affordable at $6.47 And is also have the cheapest one out of all four of the lip tints that I got. Alright, so swatching the face shop one first And then the peripera one And then the labiotte It’s a lot more watery than the other ones and then the etude house dear darling tint Now moving away from beauty products I did also get some fashion items. So first up is this pair of socks that’s Eva brown and it’s got a cute little heart on each side so I thought that’d be cute. And I’m also hoping they actually fit because I’ve quite large feet so fingers crossed and we have a success *cute* they are very very stretchy thankfully so they’re super cute I might wear them with some platform sneakers that sort of look that sort of a vibe and they were cheap as as well, they were only like $3.75 I think for these and they’re really soft and feel like really good quality socks. So hopefully they’ll last me quite a while Next up. I got a beret for $7.30 and they had a heap of colours like pinks and blues and camel colours but I decided to get the black and Fingers crossed it actually fits my head because I also have quite a large head so it by the looks of it It has a little bit of a stretchy part here like the front part doesn’t stretch But then the back has a little bit of a give right at the nape of the neck and then it has these cute little metal details and a little beret thing, whatever that’s called No idea if it’ll actually suit me or not, but here we go how does one even wear a beret? do you know? how does one wear beret? Hmm so like I said, this was $7.30 and thankfully it actually fits my head I still can’t decided if it suits me or not though. Let me know down below Now I’m also a huge fan of White T’s Plain White T’s graphic tees any of that sort of jazz, so I decided to get this one It’s got this cute little Picture on the actual plastic bag itself that says ‘moonsasa made in Korea’ and then the t-shirt itself is a la luna t-shirt So it’s just a plain white t-shirt With the words ‘la luna’ and a moon on it. I think it’s so cute and it’s go with so many things I reckon and it’s actually quite long and it has really long sleeves and it feels really really soft and stretchy. So I reckon this would fit (like I think it was a one size) but I reckon it’ll fit a lot of different people and There doesn’t seem to be anything like loose threads or anything like that It all seems really well made as well as the good quality material itself. So I’m really happy with this This had a lot a lot of really good reviews. So I’m after seeing the quality of it now I’m not surprised at all and I will soon be one of those good reviews and it was only $13.55 Australian which is pretty reasonable for a nice feeling, good quality t-shirt So here’s what it looks like on it. Has the super long sleeves That go all the way down to the elbow Depending on how I feel, I might roll them up like that So you could wear it like that or with it down like that So even though I’m about 10-12 (aust sizing) on top, this still has a lot of room So I’d say it probably easily go up to around size Maybe a 16 to 18 Australian Which I think if I’m correct is around a 12 to 14 American. Maybe? correct me if I’m wrong But yeah, I’m super happy with this. the next thing that I got was this faux leather skinny belt with hoop accents like that and this was only $5.95 on yesstyle So yeah just chucked on the skirt, tucked the shirt in and roll the sleeves up and added the belt. I think it looks really cool with the beret and everything As well as some fashion accessories, I also got something else that means that the beret has to go And that looks a little terrible but that won’t matter to finish off all the fashion-y kind of things, I got a wig! And I believe this one was from jellyfish the brand, it’s a full short wavy wig in the colour ‘golden pink’ so it came with a little wig cap And then tied up in netting So that’s the wig there it looks like it does have some skin structure to make the part look a little bit more realistic and the colour, there’s like little pink highlight-y bits kind of throughout the wig, which is a really nice detail And it doesn’t look like it has any Combs or anything on inside it, does have some soft bits where your ears go and then it does have the normal adjusters at the back So let’s try it on I reckon because I have such dark hair, I would need to wear one of those nude-coloured hair nets to hide where my hair starts and the wig starts on the fringe So, yeah, it’d obviously need a few Adjustments if I were to wear it properly, but for a first try-on, not too bad I think if I were to fix the hairline situation It would actually be a really nice wig But it’s certainly full enough at the back There’s lots of little layers and it feels relatively comfortable on my head as well. It might even look cute with like little pigtails There’s certainly enough hair in the wig to do that because it’s quite full So yeah, what do you think? Is it the right colour? maybe a little bit short? if I feel like if it came down further at the front It might look better So, yeah now that I’ve sufficiently wrecked my hairstyle with the wig, on to the next bit So I also picked up a contact lens case and This was from the brand chimi chimi on yesstyle and it comes with five separate lens case sets as well as a solution bottle and a few other little bits and bobs Inside the case so you can easily see them. I use a lot of Halloween and fancy contact lenses for makeup looks so figured that’d be a good way for me to house them and see them all at the same time and this whole set was only $5.23 Australian I believe. And so I reckon that was a pretty good deal for all of this And another little random thing that I got from your style was this little they call it a bag cook But I think it would be really good for me to stack all of my belts in my closet so they pack nicely it’s probably a little bit overpriced at $6.30 for this but I’m all about organising and I Thought it was a good solution, so.. it does squeek a little bit when you do that but I’m probably not gonna be doing that anyway, so hmm, not bad And last but not least I also got this little random thing I think it was a free gift in my order and I think it’s supposed to be a little container for notes I think it looks like you open it there Okay, so it’s just like little memo notes with yesstyle down the bottom Now I looked this up on the site, but it says that it’s $8 normally but surely not but yeah, it says it’s $8.10 I believe on yesstyle at the moment I’m not sure I’d actually pay for that but as a free gift, it’s pretty cute As well as all the yesstyle promos and sales and everything If you’re looking for and extra discount code I’ll pop mine down in the description bar and down below somewhere here somewhere on the screen and You can get some extra money off your order Alright, so that’s it for my yesstyle haul. If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to hit the like button and click Subscribe Tap that notification bell all that jazz, you know the drill and I probably have enough to do a full face of Korean makeup first impression So if you want to see that comment below Tell me what you want to see next and I will see you guys next time.
